Every current Unknown complete bicycle uses a flip-flop rear hub and comes with a freewheel included in the box. That means you have a genuine choice of drivetrain from day one: flip the rear wheel to ride freewheeling single speed, or keep it in the fixed-gear position for direct drivetrain engagement. No additional parts required.

Single speed riding strips the drivetrain down to its essentials — one gear, no derailleur, minimal maintenance. It is a clean and efficient way to ride, and the simplicity makes it a popular choice for urban cycling. When you want more control over your pedalling at speed, switching to fixed gear is a straightforward wheel flip away.

The Unknown single speed lineup covers six model families. The LV3, Singularity and Bass-X bring 6066-T6 aluminium frames and carbon forks to the range. The SC-1 offers 4130 chromoly construction for a classic ride quality. The PS1 and Paradigm complete the range with track-focused geometry and clean aesthetics. All six come flip-flop hub equipped, with the freewheel included.
